which springs or suspension?

Hi,

I lowered my almera N15 5-doors with lowering spings, but the result isn't satisfing.
The springs are rubish!!! (they lowered the car with about 20mm and not 35mm as promised.)
So, i'm looking for new springs or complete suspension kit.

Who has a great result with his springs? Brand? how much do they lower the car? Maybe some pics?

greetings

try looking at PI , SPAX 40mm.

if not coilovers would be next bet but they tend to be arround £600 New or from £250 second hand.

Ive got Apex lowering springs. lowered the back by about 35mm as said and 50mm on the front not the 35mm it says :) which is a good thing. ive also got KYB Excel G's but had the same ride height with standard shocks but handels better with them. hope this helps

Hi, make sure you cut some of the rubber bump stops out otherwise they can sit on the bump stops and you get a very interesting high speed bouncy roller coaster ride......not that I was stupid enough to find this out the hard way.....honest.........

Hi guys,

I'm from Belgium. And the belgian MOT (sbat - goca) is a real hell for all cartuners. If we want to lower our car, we need springs with a special goca-certificate ( even TUV isn't sufficient.)

Spax springs aren't allowed in Belgium, so they can't deliver the goca-certificate.
I think it's the same for PI and G-max. Even Eibach can't deliver the certificate.

So, only solution is H&R or weitech. Does anyone has these spings fitted on his car? Or other springs/coilover with GOCA-certificate?

FYI: this is my rubbish lowering:
