Whos Horn sounds really bad?

hi All,

Just wondering if it is just my horm that sounds really bad or it is the same on all 'meras. Sometimes i'm ashamed :O to beep at people who cut you up :tut:

How can you tell if the horn is knackered?

On a P1 Gti.
 
lol ive got a p1 GTi and mine sounds fine lol.... well as far as I know its nothing to worry about!! If it was that bad, id probably know about it... lol!!... what does it sound like?? bit of daft question and I doubt you could describe it exactly lol..
 
I dont know about mine, other people's horns have a sort of 'how do you do' quality, so you can beep at your mates, but mine just sounds like 'FUCK OFF!'
 
PEAGTi's aftermarket horn is beefy, but he wont tell me what it is :( so im stuck with my noddy one
 
You have 2 horns at the front and if both work it`s fairly loud. Check the connectors and that both are working by disconnecting them one at a time.
 
2 horns?? lol... just went out and gave mine a few beeps, as corbs said its more like a 'fuck off' than a 'how you doing' haha but saying that, depends what mood im in haha but I wouldnt say it sounded gay, my old saxo sounded pretty gay lol..
 
mines sounding pretty bad at the moment, sounds like road runner. i think i have water in them or something.
as anybody fitted aftermarket air horns, not musical or anything cheese just a good toot? ive bee looking but im not sure on the diffrences i.e duel tone horn etc.
 
haha my mates got a little run down saxo and his fucked up, had his mot and told it would fail if he didnt get 1 sorted... so he went out and bought a friggin air horn!! haha it sounds bloody stupid but pretty funny lol!.... hes got to replace the air horn every couple of weeks aswell haha!! idiot him lol..

ive got one of those no idea what itll sound like aint bothered my arse to fit it ive had it sitting in the car for months
