Will a N15 GTI front strut brace fit a N14???

Hello guys,
A quick question as there seems to be a few N15 GTI front strut braces for sale....
Will a N15 GTI front strut brace fit a N14 GTI???
Does anyone know or tried?
If so,any modifications required?

I'm asking IF the Almera GTI(N14) standard front strut brace WILL fit my Sunny GTI(N14) and if it does,will it need any modification(s) to fit.

Hmm it should fit as a N14 GTi-R fits on my N15 GTi!

However the sunnys top mount may not have the extended stud This is the one that sits closest to the engine on both sides.
 
The Almera GTI strut brace fits ok on the nearside turret BUT the offside turret would NEED modifying.
The offside end that mounts the top of the turret would NEED modifying too.
I don't want to modify anything just in case I take it off in the future.
GTI front strut brace,mounting plates and bolts anyone???:D
