Wing Mirror Fitting

Some mug hit my passenger-sidewing mirror and the glass part has come loose.

I took the glass part off and there are no signs of anything being broken, seems like it has just come loose.

I cant seem to get the mirror part locked back in though, any tips?

Any help much appreciated.

just push it on, if it dont go look on the back of the mirror for brakes.
mine got knocked but luckely i had my window and my mirror glas ended on my lap.
