Wiring Colour Codes?

Hello Almera World,

I'm trying to wire my stereo from a SRi into a GTi.
Are the wiring colours the same?
Does anyone have the colour codes - (if thats what they are called!?) that indicate which colour is what?

Red:Value?

Orange:Value?
Blue:Value?
Yellow:Value?
Purple:Value?
Purple/Black:Value?
Dark-Grey:Value?

Light-Purple/White:Reversing Cam from Stereo

I'll have a go at this from the FSM.

Pink: Permanent Live
Blue: Ignition ON
Red/Green: Illumination
Orange: Rear Right hand speaker Positive
Black/Pink: Rear Right hand speaker Negative
Light Green: Rear Left hand speaker Positive
Black/Yellow: Rear Left hand speaker Negative
Brown: Front Right hand speaker and tweeter Positive
Black/Red: Front Right hand speaker and tweeter Negative
Blue: Front Left hand speaker and tweeter positive
Black/White: Front Left hand speaker and tweeter negative

It doesnt differentiate between models except for RHD and LHD so they should be the same.

if your running amps etc, would defo recomend runing a live from the battery and a earth from the body as the standard wiring is a bit shit, turn the radio up loud and it will start to dim on standard wiring

Taking a delivery of a Yellow-Top Optima Battery 2moro, which I'll wire via a 3.0 Farad Cap: which should sort that. Then I'll make a start with the wiring up of the stereo wires and amp. Already received the 2000W Wiring Kit by Autoleads so I trust they are better than standard?!

Probably stick the power cap and the amp under the seats - hope its safe to drill under there. I was thinking of mounting behind the seat but thought that would just take up more boot space. The Sub is already massive 12" AudioBahn Immortal I'd expect I'll lose a third of the space. So pulling back some vital inches for the groceries - hehe :D
