just thought id update you as to how it went, i now have the dvd player installed there wasnt enough cable to run the orinignal CD player to the glove box, but having taken the frount off of it i managed to fix it behind the heater controls. i fitted the FM transmitter up behind the original screen and it works perficly.
now on to phase to in freeview instalation i have it in but need to work on boosting the singal as receptions not brilliant yet.
