200sx leathers

I sat in these last night, and they are much lower, and are much comfier, but there is just not enough support, to hold you in, under pressure.

got to agree, ok ther leather but the condition of them is junk. no point thinking about retriming them as it would of been easyer doing your gti seats, and i think the gti seats look and feel a hell of alot more suportive, and if you need harnesses to keep you in the new seats, well???

There not that bad in real life, and sit alot lower than GTi seats, because I think GTi seats are too high.

Really! Everyone who has ever been in my car comments how low slung the seats are. My mates Focus RS seats are loads higher.

the seats do look a lot better in the flesh plus the fact i aint even been arsed to clean them yet lol

a bit off topic, but looking at the last seat pic, get yourself a quick shift(if you havnt) and cut 2" off the shaft, cheapest and best mod, makes hell of a diffrence.

Definately get a short shift, but i wouldn't recommend cutting the shaft, I like to hold the stick with my arm straight, and not streching for it.

If that makes sense.

thats because you got your seat all the way back lank lol, i cut it off for looks originaly because the new nob looked awful on the long shaft.
after i cut it, it looked better and reduced the throw morw ( to about an inch each way) i dont reach for it it is great.

Cutting it wouldnt reduce the throw at all, it'd just make it harder to move (slightly).

maybe it just seems shorter as you dont need to push and pull it so far, and for stifness its cool.

The shaft doesn't shorten throw, only the ball joint to the bolt, the longer that is.

And i don't lean like a G. lol
