The starter motors are in the same place, the only noticeable differences are that the length of the 1.4 box is shorter hence the longer gearbox mount. The 1.6 box is longer therefore it needs a shorter box mount bracket
Also note on the right of each picture the cv joints, the 1.4 is smaller and has no indents in the casing
