lol! kids  . No I dont think they are illegal at all.

Any way. I think I got a good deal on a set of normal alloys. Just about decided against the spinners, it was just a 2/3 day phase I had after being bored at my desk! lol. Been down today and had a word with a alloy shop in Sheffield, and was told he will do me MOMO alloys with 205/40 17" fitted and everything else they do and put on car and make sure they are right for it and everything, for . . . . . £500! :D

Now that to me sounds like a right deal! What do you guys think? Dont think you can get MOMO for less than that as a full package, not brand new! Might get them next weekend if I can get a overdraft sorted on my other card!!

i dunno if you can still get them, but i thought those MOMO Tuner alloys were pretty cool. like a 5-spoke but with a bit of plastic screwed to each spoke that you can colour-code to your car.

just a thought

It wasnt them, aint even seen 'em! Ive seen that many wheels now Ive just given up! liked the oz something turismo but they are too highly priced and when he pointed out the momo's they looked good so gonna give them a ring tomorrow and sort something out so should have something new in time for JAE! :D

These are more than 5 spoke, think its 8 or something but the price is pretty good. Might see if they will beat prices for tyres too. after pirellis, seen for £85 each but will have to see. Alloys first and try to bargain a price for better tyres.

Just found them HERE at the bottom of the page. Bit expensive for just the alloys! lol

Also HERE so they are available in quite a few places! Never seen them before actually. Think they are a bit odd, probably one of them types that grow on you after a while. I used to like the 5 spoke, now I prefer the more spokes but prob change my mind again in a few months

Just thought i'd post this i received from Rochford tyres regarding the spinners when I first emailed them to ask about them. I asked what they were like under the spinner (incase as previousley said they fall off). One thing I can say about them is they are honest!!!

Hi

Its not a very good wheel, the spinner is plastic and the wheel looks like
this in chrome

http://www.rochfordtyres.co.uk/product.asp?numPageStartPosition=10&P_ID=270&strPageHistory=&strKeywords=&strSearchCriteria=&PT_ID=67

I would avoid this wheel at all costs, but it does look good on the cars.

Dave

So there we go, the place that sells them even hates them! lol

All i can say is i'm glad you chose not to get them!

They would look pants on an Almera, unless you went for 19"s and were going for the pimp look.

The 24" ones suit that Jeep thats always at the shows, just a pity how shitly he cut the bumper and wheel arch up to get them in! And it make show car just cos of them.

lol yeah, I'd sent the mail same day I put this on. They took a while but confirmed what you said about them! Good advice, cheers, glad I didnt bother anyway in the end, the phase has gone now and new ones sorted out for this weekend.

Cheers

ps I dont ignore anything said incase ur wondering, when you said that I did start to look elsewhere so thanks for the advice again

Right from the star ive wanted 19/20" chrme spinners, but ive had to live up to the fact that, untill i get my hummer of Caddy, i wont be getting any lol..... but 1800 is cheap for a set to be honest

Im informed you can get plastic spinners from dagenham market for £5 a set mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nice :p

Theres a dodgy dirt/brown flip painted clio with them on in Aberdeen.. they look just ok. but i see hes got them off and put back on his lovely hand painted gold multi-spoke alloys on. so i imagine he was told to take em off.
