gotta ask were there any engine mount /subframe mods required for that??? and how did wiring looms an auxilaries go?? have been pondering this transplant for a while now i got the money for an SR motor but didn't think it would be achievable with an older gen engine fitting into a newer gen car.
arghh so many questions if you could give me a quick guide to the major challanges would be appreciated thanks.

Hi folks,
We are back in the game. My Almera got rebuild a bit and drives pretty awesome!
Will post some pictures of the modifications that we made to the car soon.

P.S. In a month the car will be put in one of the biggest polish car magazines, so I am feeling happy.

I am just about to finish on my interior.
Added new rally seats, new rally steering, changed the dashboard to a rally style one.
Changed a bit the bodywork.
Last winter we focused to disassemble the whole car into peaces and put it together so it worked as it should. And it worked! We changed only the clutch and all fluids to new. The turbo is starting at lower RPM, the acceleration is holding you to the seat more than the belt and the sound of the BOV... OMG you have to hear it!
