does it feel like the handbrake is being pulled on and off? and you have to really floor it before it'll do anything? otherwise it sort of grumbles and shudders? mines been doing this. it was a wire into the alternator, now the problems returning again though. im wondering if its a failing O2 sensor (maybe a bad earth) or fuel pump. mine does it from cold and sometimes when its run for a good while as well. im stumped. it was really violent jerking, this was sorted by a polyurethane front mount as the OE was almost non-existant due to wearing out. but the problems still there.

you mention you fitted some parts secondhand, which ones? they may have been worse than the ones that were fitted?? you have me stumped, have your tried kickin the shit out of the car for the day and given it a good long run on a dual carriageway to give parts a chance to free off?

Car has ben on diagnostic machine an it found no problems! all timing settings are fine, does feel like handbrake is being pulled on an off, will check alternator connections.
Got second hand parts from a good running primera was in scrap yard for being in rear end shunt. Car seems to run better when cold although the idle is bit excessive sits at bout 2000rpm on cold start should be around 1200 to 1500rpm
