well if you ever sell the chery keep me in mind dude.. it would make my grans day! she used to pick me up from nursery at aged 5 in her 1.3 cherry lol she had it from new and she always regretted trading it in.


does the gearbox whine like hers used to? im sure nissan used to use straight cut gears in them days!

no idea the only 4 speed didn't and i aint really driven the car with the 5speed. But i will soon lol

only other thing i want to do to it is get a new center consol as i have fitted the remote windows (donor one wrong colour)and fit a better headunit (hidden)

Got some bad news from nissan, parts i ordered are no longer available.
Anyone know anywhere that sells brown trim paint?

Are you restoring to original Ant? Else I would suggest flocking Actually to get close to the look how about brown flocking?

put the origonal on into a paint supplier to see if they can make up paint close to origonal, anythign got to be better than bright blue lol

finally managed to get some paint (most expensive tin or srapy i ever bought so far lol)

in primer

And color

sadly it is a little lighter than OEM, but as it's not actually right net to any i think it will work out ok. I'll get some more pics when it's fitted to car.
