To bring myself back on topic here, does anyone know the best way to remove the bonnet badge on a phase2 N16 please?

I was going to do this to mine, but decided against it because, as far as I can remember (I got rid of it last February, so forgive me if this info is wrong), the pins are held on with star washers, which are only accessible with a small screwdriver, through a small hole in the skeletal frame of the bonnet.

I`d say the easiest way of a quick removal is to snap the pins off the badge with the screwdriver & use the hairdryer trick on the badge itself, just in case there`s any glue holding it on as well, but then you`ve got to fill in & spray the recess where the badge was, & I just couldn`t be arsed with it to be honest. :)

Sounds similar but my phase2 doesnt have a recess on the bonnet. Not visible with the badge on anyway. There will be holes left over but I'm intending to put a smaller nissan badge over them. I just think that the standard badge is way too big!

I think you can see the recess better through the hole where the pins are visible from (it`s only about 1mm deep though).

It was deffo there on mine.

Or, you could get Damo to make you a vinyl AOC `hamburger` badge the same size & stick that over the holes. ;)

there are 2 holes on the N16 ph2. there are no holes but a groove on a N16 ph1. best thing to do its take it to a body shop and get it filled the holes a quite big 5x5mm aprox (if not bigger)
