BMC induction problems

Should be joe, there is two sizes: < 1.6 and 1.6 & above. The 1.6 & above will have an 85mm neck on the engine side

haha, alright Psycho Eddie your set-up looks sweet. ill go for the CDA option then! :P
Ive noticed that none of you have the air con pipes leading across the engine then. Do i have to remove these before i can fit the induction?

No need to take aircon out, the ebay piping kit bends to fit under anyway..

Yeah tommo that was a helpful message, thanks! :D

Umm right lads, ive got a quote from regal-motorsport for the parts i need. well what i think i need:
1 - 90 Deg Silicone Elbow - 76mm
1 - Alloy Pipe Straight 300mm Long - 70mm
1 - Coupler 76mm long x 76mm
1 - BMC Direct Intake Airsystem
4 - Hose Clip JCS Zinc 70-90mm

All in all coming to about £160

Anyone think of anything else i will be needing?!
Cheers.

The DIA retails about 99, or did when I worked for the frauds. So roughly £60 for the rest is a bit steep considering you can get a ford focus kit which is everything you need, for about £30 delivers off Ebay.
Though what you have listed sounds about right. Could try and get some pipercross intake ducting pipe at the biggest size they do, which is 76mm.

Sod spending £160 on an induction kit for a GA14.

Spend that money on an exhaust manifold, replacement K&N panel filter and cold air feed.

Just buy the 1.4/1.6 EBAY induction kit... keep it for a while... then when a BMC 70-130 kit second hand comes up simply bolt on the BMC filter instead like I have done...

That way you know the piping perfectly suits the car & can then see the differences between straight induction going to BMC with CAI

Or alternatively do w.e u like
