hi
does any1 know if 200sx calipers fit on the almera as i need more stopping power
nice 1

No, they are not a direct bolt on.

There is the option of FTO GPX calipers and discs from the Clio 172 (or some piece of French shit).

Best bet is something derived from the Sentra (B13/B14) or GTiR, as they are a direct bolt on.

sound looks like i will have to save up as i am having a new front pipe this this weekend thats costing me £180. will have to look into them

the willwoods dont fit easily apparently. Rowdy tried them and had to revert to standard calipers after trying different wheel sizes.

any ideas then cause it gets a bit scary when u get to 110 and need to slow down fast, think my disks are warped. does any1 one have a problem with the abs coming in early then backing of, like if your in first gear and pressing the brakes the abs will kick in for no need. and when i boost it the abs light will come on sometimes then go off later on, it first started when i drove it in the snow. the abs light came on when the car went on the dyno, i switched the engine off, started it and it was still on, then about 70Meters down the road it went off again

the new "lite" style calipers from wilwood (which the group buy is for) fit's perfectly under 16" wheel's, lot's of people from the gtiroc have them on 16" wheel's. They claim they fit under 15" but i dunno how truthful that is, and no-one from the gtiroc has tried yet. But they definatly fit under 16" wheel's and are a direct fit the new kit's i know a few people with them

Your ABS sounds fucked to me mate i'd get it sorted out....only time my ABS light has stayed on is when the ABS sensors on the brake calipers get covered in snow...once the snow comes off its ok again.

That's normal to happen with the ABS system after a dyno. run.

What happens is the front wheels are turning and the rears are not, so the ABS sensors in ghe front pick up a reading, but the rear sensors don't, so it throws a warning light.

The Wilwoods fit under certain 15" wheels, but only a select few.

That is a 298mm brake disc and 4 piston Wilwood caliper. It is very close to the wheel, but it doesn't touch!

Cheers

im hoping they will fit under 15" ro_ja grid's, if not im gunna have to up to 16", which i dont want to do :( dowt spacer's would help much either

They fit GTiRs but the problem was when fitting them to N15s, as in theory they both use ad22vf calipers but the offset on the N15 is different to the GTiR

I tried the midilites under 16" grids and they didn`t fit.

did you buy wheel spacers mate? that was my plan :(

**edit** guy on sr20 is running wilwood's on 15" roja grid's, look's liek they fit, probably need some spacers though - Dbull, very helpfull as ever mate, spot on with that link

everyone on the sr20 forum say's they fit, but you who actually tried say's they don't. look's like im back where i began rofl! :( really really REALLY dont wana go for 17's :( - wud prefer 15's in all honesty but really like the grid's :(

Yes i tried REALLY hard to get them fitted. The FTO/clio combo may be better.
but they are big calipers also and would be a push to get under small alloys also i'd say.
plus they take a bit of tinkering to fit and your stuffed if they dont go under 15's
