You still should have scratched something or at least let down the air in his tyres...I would if that was my car. Ive got a little valve screw in my glovebox, just stick in in the tyre valve, unscrew and air comes gushing out:P

nah while your at it walk of with the valve then no matter how much air he puts in it, its never gonna stay! haha did this to someone at college after he egged and floured my mera so i threw a nice thick maccys milkshake over his car, removed his valves and drove home haha revenge!

It looks mint!!! I wanna raise the back of my bonnet woill do it on wednesday noight me think!!! Looks sweet!

What is the use of raising a bonnet?? It looks snazzy, but is there actually a reason for doing so?! Just wondering.....

Cools the engine bay more, as stated earlier in the thread.

lol soz, realised after 5 mins of writing that, its this site, its slow as hell at the mo and its not letting me open some pages and comes up with errors and stuff, so I couldnt read the whole thread lol...

Might actually give it a bash, but would it let water/debris or theiving hands into the engine bay??..

nah it raises it by about 20mm, so only the borrowers will be able to get in, and there's a rubber strip that runs around the edge that keeps the water out, i've never had any problems, even when washing the car and chucking loads of water at the windscreen

mmmm so you think its worth it? I do like the way it looks, saying that Ive never seen it on a 'mera in real life, seen it on others though and it does look nice lol... if I can get round to it, might give it a go lol... Ive got a few tihngs I wana get done, but never get round to doing it!! lol...

You obviously didn`t look hard enough @ Naylors car @ the big meet then did you? :P

I counted the washers on his when you were looking @ the engine, & think it was 4 or 5.

Great looking car mate. :thumb:

As soon as that guy apologised for denting your car he'd admitted liability - I'd have asked for his insurance details then tried to shaft his no claims bonus. If he tries to ignore you and wander off threaten to get him busted for leaving the scene of an accident. If he claims it's not really an accident point out that if it wasn't an accident by definintion it must have been on purpose and therefore constitutes vandalism and property damage.

He'd likely stump up the cash to fix the dents just to get rid of you.

My last car had a load of dings at just the right height and shape for SUV door corners, not to mention the chips in the bonnet and windscreen - invariably fired at me at twice the speed of sound by some huge mud slinging 4x4 tyres that had never seen mud in thier life - I was just never lucky enough to catch one of the arrogant dicks that drove them face-to-face.

Don't get me wrong, not all drivers of SUVs are arrogant dicks; just the ones that ding other cars with their doors, tailgate smaller cars with all thier fog lights on, have still not removed their pedestrian-mangler bars, never use their off-roader anywhere other than city streets, park in two parking bays at once, say 'it's safer'**, try and control 2 tons of metal while chatting on a mobile and sipping a mochachino, pretend it's really as environmentally friendly as whale farts or block the entire road ahead from view to everyone behind them then slam on their brakes when the car ahead of them gets sick of being tailgated by a 9-foot high monster with full fogs lights on and taps the brake.

So, only about 96.7% dicks, then.

Not that I'm bitter or anything.. :mad2:

** it may be safer for them but not for the familiy in the VW Polo they plough into whilst doing one of the dickhead things mentioned in the main part of my rant.
