Coilover Setup

Can anyone recomend me what would be best

N15 with GA16DE.. and the cars stripped so its light all around

15'' Alloys with Toyo T1R's 195/50/15 (There quite soft/squishy) ...

So what Psi for tyres front/rear

And Damping /32 for front & rear

Would you suspension experts recommend?

Probably

Tyres 30/32

BC coilovers 14/18

I was hoping for more spesific advice from tried and tested members.. anyone can say adjust to personal preference an easy way out lol

Tyres 35 psi all round.

I`d try 18F 25R and work from there.

Its more important to have your tracking and camber 100% accurate than damper settings though. The camber measurements on the actual topmounts dont mean a thing. Mine are on totally different settings.

Rowdy speaks truth!

Get camber and tracking done first. For my 'spirited' driving. I use 20F 28R. Anymore on the front and it understeers like mad, anyless on the back and again understeer is bad but more on the back and its too bouncey.

Just trial and error mate, its all down to the roads you drive on and your style of driving :)

RE 35 Psi all around is that safe?

I had alignment done day after buying the coilies. Its been set neutral all around

So I just want to get a good thing going setup wise get the most out of the car, without being sketchy over bump uneven twisties.. tried 32/32 that was STIFF

Chassis N15
Coilovers MeisteR ZetaR 7/5

Front rebound (spring rate) 8 clicks
Rear rebound (spring rate) 10 clicks

Ride Height - 60mm lower than standard all round
Front tyre pressure 34psi
Rear tyre pressure 34psi
Tyre size 205/40 R17

*camber up top on 0'0 now as still to be set up

Don't think that camber is 0 just cause it's set to 0 Dave (just in case you werent aware, so get it set up asap) :).

Generally a firmer rear is preferred. For my 'comfort' settings I've got them 10 up front and 12 on the back.

my comfort setting is full soft all round....

go get it setup somewhere, they should give you a 30 day period if your not happy (which they wont normally tell you about), so after 2 weeks go get it setup again free of charge :)

Mines the same as sam's. Full soft for a disgusting amount of car devaluing motorway miles each day

Didn't know about the 30 day thing though :P

I've been to 2 garages to set up Coilovers. Power engineering use hub magnets with bubble levels and laser aligning, cost me 60 for camber and align. Had another fancy one though, with digital readers on each wheel, with readout, 80 quid

^ man you need to come to bristol for an alignment  would still be cheaper even with the petrol you would use....

Full laser alignment setup adjusting everything that can be adjusted on a Hunter Alignment system.. £35

or my guy I use at the moment, full alignment with a fast road setup £25 :)
