colour coding P2 rear light surrounds

Oh, I was going to take them off the car initially, but didn't realise they were sealed on with that sticky crap so I thougt fuck it, I'll just paper over the back of the car.
 
ah you'd be much better off takin them off mate, just the hairdryer out and it'l melt the black shit in 10 seconds. much less chance of runs etc if they are flat.
 
can't be arsed now lol. I was pretty careful and sprayed pretty thin layers to make sure it didn't run. just takes a bit more patience that's all :). I'm just doing the how to now.
 
progress pics are up. I'll finish it tomorrow. I've got this crazy setup with a big sheet of plastic tied to the back of the car and the garage dors so that if it rains they won't get wet. I can't be arsed re-masking and re-papering the car if it's wet.

nah, too many ppl do that so they all look the same. maybe the wiper mod like.

ps the si exhaust always makes me giggle. i noticed on mine too. they cut the recess in the bumper far too big so it just looks funny to me lol.
 
yeah it is kinda funny. afaik that's the exhaust it rolled out the factory with and I've no intention of changing it :D. as fr as the wiper mod goes, It looks better but the wiper sits covering up a fair bit of the bottom edge of the window, which I don't like so I'm probably gonna leave it where it is.
 
Love the lights mate, it looks the best on black cars i think as its alot more subtle, I dont think i'd like it on mine!

as regards to the rear wiper, I'm leaving mine where those clever people in Japan intended it to be! :)
 
there is an advantage to the bumper cut out, saves you having to cut it back if you fit a bigger exhaust. rather than slap the exhaust under the bumper like punto drivers lol
 
do the wiper mod but go for a punto rear wiper conversion at the same time, looks loads better
