CoV's N15

Popped over to Alan at solid fabrications to improve the exhaust. Make it quieter and stop it it rubbing the underbody which got really annoying. Original centre box was 4.5" x 14". New one is 5" x 22", new flexi installed and back box supply was re-routed to stop it rubbing

Also while there thought I would get my koyo radiator modified. Came with 28mm outlets but uk n15s are 35mm. So I machined up some aluminium sleeves to convert it to 35mm, cut off the lip and asked Alan to weld them on.

So as you know I booked a track day at Bedford earlier in August.

Have to say its the best fun I have had behind the wheel. Car performed perfectly, handled great, tyres were great and the EBC yellow stuff pads were spot on too. I recently fitted the Koyo rad and water temps only rose by a couple of degrees, oil pressure stayed constant and never dropped. Each session I grew with confidence. Fantastic cars there, the V8 atoms just appear out of nowhere! Would like to match up the photos with the corners so I can see how the car is rolling at certain speeds.

Fantastic day, will definately book another now the car is ready prepped.

Here are the photos, videos to follow:

Body roll!

Ride height looks ok but I know the wishbones point upwards slightly. Nothing I can do with that until I can get the dampers on a lathe and turn the seized lock nuts off.

Don't want to damage the threads so will need turning off.

It won't budge, wd, plusgas, freeze and release. Chisel, mallet. It's there to stay for now

The standard c spanners tooth snapped off, even with heavy duty c spanner, shock braced, used heat and mallet it didn't move.
