Very nice yo, BS7 + White wheels = Win!
i like stretched tyres but for that to look right it needs very low offset or very big spacers
looks very sexy my boy
What im planning for mine! 16*8 +15 with a stretched tyre and 3"dish!

ditto, thats my worries lol, every time i'm driving it i keep thinkin there's not enough to seal the rim properly and the stretch will just go 'pop!' and then all the air rushing out as i swerve into a lamp post :lol:
this isnt a dig at craig but stretch tyres on a 15 or 16 inch rim will never ever ever look good.. why dont people listen.. our arches are like jordans beef curtains (GAPPING!) and you need some propper sized wheels to even look like filling them.. then theres the fact the fronts are narrow as hell and the rears are triple skined and are --------- that shape on the inner lip as opsed to \ shape on the inside
the doo it right you need an 18" rim that the same width as those 16's with the same 165 tyre stretch you need them about a 15-10mm offsett and you need your arches rolling then you need to slam the hell out of it..

this however looks like youve thrown a set of rims into a blue cave...
look at the over hang on the back wheel! but the car is that low your scrap the front cross member on a pack of playing cards!
you carnt have it both ways if you want our ourches filled you are gone loose any good handeling caracteristics as you need big rims ultra short suspention and stupid thin tyres. because our arches are huge but narrow especially on the front..
you want good handling ect your gona end up with big arch gap (when compaired to normal cars not standard almeras)

hahaha, not taken ad a dig mate, all totally true - as i said from the start, i despise the tyres they came with, fookin look ridiculous but thats what they came with off guy on ebay and i'm skint! the stretch above is cool, but like you say n15 arches/offset etc sucks!

dudes i realise hence why my thread started "this isnt a dig at craig.. i know they came tlike that but there are a few people on here who think that the stretch tyre Mk1 golf look works on our flabby wide arched a;lmeras.. id love it if someone did it properly with a set of 18;s it would look absolutly mint..

i do feel bad about breakin it - but with mine it's simple economics.
my paint was shite before so i repainted it DIY. its also rustin on inner arches etc. with those 2 things no-one will give me anythin like the money i'll get by sellin all my tasty uprated bits off, sad but true
