Crashed my mera!!!!! NOOOOO!!!!

I completely fu*ked my first blue SRi and didnt even bother telling insurance, just got it towed up the embankment and scrapped.

same for my 1.4

Stripped the interior completely and sold the shell to the scrappy, got £20!!!

doesnt seem like much really but for a smashed up shell with creased floor and roof!

He said he would keep the engine 'cos he aint had a pre 2000 'mera in for at least 3 years and people always come in for the parts but he never has them!
 
These are the after pics... thanks for all your support, jus sortin out some stuff with me dad about a new car so ill be breakin me mera soon... so watch this space

I dunno, when you said the A pillar was bent I assumed the front had been crumpled and the force had bent it.

It may be an easy repair depending on the extent of the damage...roof crumpled ??
 
Can you get some pics from the side & with the door open?

From those pics it looks like the door/wing took most of it & the pillar is just scraped?
 
well.. the barrier bounced of my wing onto my door and coz mera doors wrap round its heavily damaged it, the pillar from the inside aint damaged though...
 
a shock?? mate i had to clean me seat after i got out! im thinkin of gettin a newer car though.... maybe somethin like a new astra!?! ooohhh a vxr!!!!
 
Just noticed the red mark on the O/S door & the apparent kink on that side of the windscreen, can you get a close up of that side as well?

not at the moment mate.... ill tell u what it is though... theres a hole in the windscreen there and the red... welll... thats not the original wing... this car has had the driver door and wing replaced as it was a cat d when i bought it
 
Would be a shame to break it if all it needs is 2 new doors, a windscreen & a front wing, you could make it a track car, if you`re that way inclined.

I may be jumping the gun until I see the interior shots, but I`d say, for what happened, the car got off lightly.

P.S: What speed were you doing when it happened? (just out of curiosity)

Still too expensive to repair... cost me atleast 300 quid... interiors fine, i mean if any1 wants to buy the whole car then id prob sell it... speed.. cant exactly remeber think it was 40?!? dunno mate

Oh! Now you`ve said that, you`re probably right to break it then, if it`s had a frontal impact before, then you don`t know what this latest one may have done to what may have been repaired before. (if that makes sense) :confused:

Please disregard my previous requests for pics, as there is no need to try & save the car.

Seems about right, was thinking "for what it hit, to come away with that little damage, he couldnt have been doing 50"

Just count yourself lucky you were only doing 40ish! :eek:

sorry to hear that mate but if you are going to repair gimme a shount as you can have my doors and wings lol
