decided to buy another ph2 gti - thats 3 now :D

When in 99 did they have all air bags was it late 99 cause mine is april 99 but only has 2 bags. when was the very last Gti produced???
Also didnt think they gave bottom end trouble did they?
 
Cheers. Need to completely run this one into the ground first though :) And when I buy one, I think i'm going to save up a bit of money and get a later model as I really cannot be arsed with the whole rust problem again. Anything else I can deal with, but rust just doesn't go away once its arrived no matter what you do. Gonna get paid for a few major projects by the the end of July (I'm a freelancer now which pays a bit more) and I think that's when I'll be buying
