disconnecting front sway bar improve handling?

I found a quite noticeable difference. It won't stop it but it definitely reduced the roll on direction change.

Like others have said, try it with or without. It's not dangerous. Some N15s didn't even come with a roll bar originally.

Wonder if a K11 Micra ARB setup would fit there 22mm

I do run my FARB. Maybe on a tight twisty track you may gain some benefit.

Ah right sorry thought at one point you took it off. Just gone back and it was the rear ARB that was removed after fitting trail arm bushes.

theres many factors that could contribute to understeer, tyres, damper settings, track conditions, YOU

get a PROPER alignment done corner weighting etc not just a 'fast road setup' go and visit WheelsInMotion.

Does indeed, but the Micra bar does have a bend under the exhaust so should in theory clear still?

Just wondered about mounting points/bar length etc wondered if any Micra owner ever fitted a almera ARB say as a upgrade

Eddie, think about what you just said.....if the Micra Owners could use our ARB's as an upgrade. Then why would you use a micra one?

....phone....

Might be if there on standard shocks springs..

If increasing the ratio of Rear to Front ARB thickness increases oversteer/reduces understeer if Micra ARB fitted 22mm option vs current 26mm pov spec N15 option might be good

Yeah i had it cornerweighted last year; I'm sure someone else could extract better handling characteristics from the car but it was just an observation I felt from the car i.e felt like it was pushing on at points. Then again, not sure if my tires are getting past their best, etc. Just had alignment redone as probbly wasnt optimal at snetterton so will see how it feels on its next outing; certainly feels alot sharper on the road that it did before
