the T/B heating feeds the coldstart waxstat fast idle on the GA,s, so i had to compensate on the tickover on my GA T/B.
and if a cold air feed gives gains, then a non-heated T/B will help a tad surely ?

I`ve bi-passed the coolant lines my throttle body ( + thermal gaskets ). No idle problem, just a a nice cool inlet tract. A hot throttle body will conduct heat to other areas of the inlet.
Its pretty pointless using thermal gaskets but still having a hot throttle body, although the fact coolant flows through the inlet manifold at one end doesn`t help, this is rather harder to overcome.
