True it does look good but I'd have to get it done by someone which adds expense.. something I'm not willing to do just for a minor cosmetic mod.

No the glow plugs are attached to the wavy black bar just above the manifold heat shield.

Perhaps cut a 'NISSAN' logo out of sheet metal and 'stick' it down somehow?

Yeah, cut it out of 3mm steel and chemical metal it to the cam cover.

(Off topic) Can you get a Sport+ 3 door with that 136 DCi lump? My next motor i think.

No you can't. They came with the 110bhp Di engines. But the SXE (like mine and Almerasleeper's) is the phase2 equivillant in that the SXE has everything as standard, all the bodykit, and is equiped only with either the 1.8 petrol or 136 diesel.

Never heard of chemical metaling it. I'll do a google, cheers :)

Yeah the more i see N16's the more i like, when i have finished (are they ever?) my present GTi i think i am going to have a go at a DCi.

What sort of power can you squeeze? (With Pipe, filter, big fmic, touch more boost, remap etc?)

Do they come in white?

To not wander off topic, there's lots of info all over the forum :) Mostly in my member's ride thread no doubt ;)
 
with strut brace and painted rocker cover with the nissan and painted exhaust cover too.

what about getting the nissan painted on too mate???
 
you should carve nissan into the plastic cover also can i ask how did you fit the dump valve have a 112 bhp dci and want a dump valve thanks
 
A what now? I hoping I'm being ignorant to one of those cheapo does-nothing mods here like the electric turbo....
