For anyone wanting an outer cv joint for an almera gti...

I may well do, I will have a look at one I have off and see if it matches the spec on that site. Really don't want to strip a shaft if it's wrong

I'm going to try driveshaft uk. Just spoke to them and its £156+ vat to collect, overhaul and return 2 outer cv joints. When i said they were for an almera he seemed to know about the problems of aftermarket joints. 01902 602100if anyone want o try them.

These guys are pretty much on my drive home from work. Wouldn't mind helping out in terms of postage if need be.
 
That sounds like a good option, at least you know if they will be correct when returned. Might give that a go with mine when the time comes

I've checked with a lot of suppliers in the UK now, none can get the correct ones, the all have the wrong inner spline shape. Confirm this before spending that money.

Shaftec make one that looks perfect but the inner dimension is 0.5mm different.

Does anyone have a photo of the wrong joint??
