gti jerky ride at low revs help!!

I thought that also but before I got the Almera. A trip down the m25 in a 16v mk2 during rush-hour with very little in the line of brakes, kinda put pay to that though. Alot to be said for the reliability factor with the Almera, the old Golfs can be an absolute balls if you dont get a good one, spent lots of time on the side of the road due to Golf's but I still love them........ lots of boring stories in that department

i have 4 golf mk2 gtis and regreat sellin every one of them lol but i get very bored fast i am going to try and get some polyurathane mounts to see if that helps found them on net but in usa only 53 dollers but costs alot to ship them over here.

These, but you need 2 of the 2 piece mount not 2 of the single big piece (US cars differ)

You can buy them singley, or buy the set and the extra 2 piece seperate and sell the 1 piece you don't need.

Or you can fill your OE mounts with some paste, that I can't remember the name of. Just DIY stuff.

no where in the UK sells them just get them from ebay, I would only DIY my mounts if they were in excellent condition to begin with, when I got my car they had been filled with the PU stuff but the actual mount had collapsed so it made no difference...

Try a full service and change the gear box oil, it wont cure it but may make it slightly smoother.
If you can look past it [ you have to learn to raise the clutch and rev it at the right rate, once you get the hang of it it can be pretty much non exisistant ]
Anyway its a great fun car, dont give up on it that easy ;)
