Aye I've got GTi shocks and springs and they do make a difference to SRi ones, feels more rigid and nimble, and bounces a lot less! Although my old rear shocks were on their way out. Will be good to see what difference the strut braces make when I get them. However I think you would need to use GTi lowering springs, as I don't think non-GTi ones fit and vice versa.
