In all seriousness though, I'd have a 1.4 Almera before a 1.4 Pug too.

i supose i can only commnet on the GTi model but ive had a crash in it and it stood up very well along with other GTi's on here i have seen after crashes they all seem to have been good, no serious injurys.

got to agree. I hit a barrier 3times doing 75 in my old gti and i walked away without a scratch,just a face full of airbag dust

ok guys ive booked my practical for 11 april, bt i may get a car before then. pretty sure ill go for almera but i saw a nice lookin phase2 306 1.4lx for £795 on autotrader, only done 56k. sounds to good to be true though. any way i was just wondering will any of you lot be going to the santa pod fast show on 9th march? look out for my dads red saab 95 aero with black wolfraces on, it' s an auto but should be interesting to see what time it gets.
