Help newbie fittment of FSE power boost valve

At the mo running 4-2-1 manidols and full stainless system. big induction kit. Cold feed few other bits .
For what I paid Gunna set at 3 .3 bar and see how is go's it is 50/50 with good feedback and bad so I guess only way to see is try.
andd cov pic would be great. It seems easy ie fuel.return fuel delivery and the vacuum pipe that.go's to to intake manifold ?? But pic would be great ,:)

I'm struggling to read a lot of this thread. An adjustable fuel regulator can be a good addition when paired with other modifications (as stated above). Unless you really need more fuel and have an accurate way of reading your AFRs (wideband Lambda for example) then you could just be creating a rich running condition and lowering your MPG.
Have you got any other mods?

Mods are just bolt ons atm . 4-2-1 manifold full straight 2" pipe through. Big induction kit with cold feed. Nothing much really like cams.
Do u think worth trying seeing if get a better pick up ect.???,

Like you said its worth giving it a go. But even on my spec i didnt need any extra fuel pressure, if you want to increase pick up and MPG id suggest cleaning the MAF sensor and getting the injectors ultrasonically cleaned and flow tested.

I've got a nismo FPR but have set it to stock FPR.. but I will run 3.5 or 4 bar pressure with a remap otherwise anything overstock pressure seems pointless.

I think some people on here that got a performance increase have old injectors with 100k+ miles and an old fuel pump so a performance increase with rasing the fuel pressure a tad may be found, but if you have a new walbro fuel pump/ultrasonically cleansed/flow benched injectors then I think leaving it stock FPR wise would be best otherwise MPG will just go to shit.

Best bet get a FPR and spend £50 on a dyno session and have the FPR tuned to the car so it will run best with the current old injectors/fuel pump :)

That's not a bad idea Eddie. With a remap they can simply fiddle the injectors to fuel more on stock pressure. But with a few bolt ons, a quick dyno setup makes sense.

Yep all booked today for 2 week tomorrow :) 80 for 3 runs at tws performance:). They said there guna do a run with no fse or standerd pressure. Then remap ect a tune from there hopefully should av to good print out proof of torque improment or not plus will see what my beast can do. Wish me luck.:)

How much is the remap costing you? And what are they doing/using?

....phone....

Sorry I would know just little tune up see what it pushing see what there can do. I just don't wanna put the valve on thinking doing good qnd end up losing power :( . And now have induction, 4branch, ect hopefully they can play around a bit open it up a bit finger crossed will update.

Also may go TSR performance tomorrow to see what there can do really they do vw and seat and Audi but I know a chap down there hopefully he cqn sort me out a few runs

Once it's set then that's it. You don't need to read the gauge unless you're adjusting it. You can get better spray pattern up to 4bar too which can improve the burn in the cylinder. The tuning place should set you up with a Wideband lambda sensor to get the optimum AFR (14.3ish). As long as that figure is about right you're golden.

take the time to read thru my 'members ride 'blog, then let me know if what im saying is either experience or common sense................

remove gauge after adjusting the fuel pressure, reason the gauge internals wear from prolonged use. mine started to under-read after 7 - 9,000 miles of use.

Thanks for advise will get removed when set;)
