Henry the toledo

If they are anything like the vw's then im sure there is a problem with water coming in through the window regulators. Will check with my mate and find out how they tell and what they seal up to sort it.

You can get leaks through the regulator assembly or through the frame if it's been adjusted wrong. They can be a pain in the arse and you need 45 Torx bit but it's worth a look. The rear doors have most likely been messed with in the past.

I resealed the rears up as per a guide I found on the cupra forum, maybe It hasn't worked, maybe its something else. Need to dry it out properly as opposed to just blowing up the vacuum at the local bp x

They're easy enough once you're elbow deep. Seats out, sill trims and pillar trims out, wiring untucked and you're golden. If you can't get it out completely you can at least squeeze it out and prop it up to dry out.

Check water isn't coming in from behind the door cards. Not sure what other VAGs use, but rather than the usual sheet of plastic and sealer, they sometimes use metal panels which are bolted in & and the seals go bad. Remove and refit with silicone.

That's exactly what they do and what ive done, except I used butyl strip x

Cut all of that rubber strip off the bottom of the door?

That should let the water run out instead of building up and running in under the doors threshold.

Door frame gets my vote. Get in the back and listen for wind noise around the top of the frame whilst someone else is driving.

Il have the door card back off and have a check at my handy work again. Could also be something to do with the pollen filter, they have a nasty habit of leaking through the housing and having replaced it recently I could have refitted it wrong although I cant see how it could leak from the bulkhead, miss the front and then just settle in the back.
Il have a looksy at your suggestion spook, once I can find someone to drive me around for a bit xx

UPDATE
think I may have found the culprit, fron door seals, think its filling up the doors and the seals gone at the back, which leads to the rear kickwells x

Still haven't got round to fitting the honeycomb grill.
Next on the list is to sort out the buggered track rod end, poly arb bushes, brakes, rear tyres, leaky door seals and then he should finally be sorted x x
