Had a slight issue yesterday, hit a speed bump and put up a warning light on the dash, scanned it but had no fault codes. Car drove fine except no cruise control :'(. Had a look on cupra.net and narrowed it down to the brake light switch on the pedal, so que me trying to get at it in the pitch black pub car park in the rain. Pulled it out and popped it back in and it's working fine now xx

Thought you may have said a 2005-2009, as i was going to say Dont!!! massive problem's oil pump balancer shaft.
Common fault apparently.
