Am new here but have a question for you straight away!

Which is more powerful? The Nissan Almera GTI or Nissan Pulsar VZR?

Also what year was the last Almera GTI made?
 
insurance wise, i'd say a vzr would be more insurance friendly being a 1.6, gtis may be a bit more difficult (and expensive) depending on age etc etc

To compile the replies; The VZ-R is more powerful but that does not necessarily mean faster.
 
i raced an integra and the new 182 clio in my ph2 GTi on a dual carriageway and neither could shake me off although they would both beat me to 60 and are lighter

Good looking getting a VZR mate not that many in this country! Not sure you you can import them either!

Thats odd as my mate has a 182 and he rapes me!
 
VZR has more potential. But for the price difference between it and GTi, it could be worthwhile getting an old GTi.
The VZR is 1.6 with 175ps (SR16VE). You can put the crank and rods in from the 2.0 (SR20DE), which would cost hardly anything to do, and you've got something which will probably be powerwise about the same as a CTR. In reality it would leave the CTR for dead

your having a laugh! mate has a integra. we had a rolling start, 1st gear 20mph. had him upto 60 when i had to change gear. he changed into third and pissed all over me. not a chance of me catching him. theres no way you could have the integra on a dual carriageway.

You could if the other cars mentioned weren't racing, but rather thinking 'look at the chav trying to race me...' :lol:
 
some of you guys don't have a clue! or can't drive! i suspect both! or your mummy's have had your car's restricted to 60mph :lol:

my mates old integra was 1 sec quicker to 60 than my car and strangely 1 sec quicker down the 1/4 mile i:e 0-90ish :rolleyes: (same sort of figure would apply to clio?)

i never said i went flying past anybody :confused: i said they couldn't shake me off! as in they couldn't get away from me and i couldn't pass them

Certainly the integra would get his cock out on the way past you, then piss all over your car, through the drivers window and all over your top, in your face, a bit would go up your nose and into your mouth. THERE IS NO WAY AN ALMERA GTI WOULD EVER COME CLOSE TO AN INTEGRA!
 
wtf?? bit extreme that like innit?? an integra isnt the fastest car in the world and I think shaun was getting at saying he didnt blitz it, but more like keeping up with them..

If that was the case, the integra driver would have some aim, getting it across the passenger side , out passenger window and into another car lol
 
maybe got a tad carried away, and i know that the integra isn't the quickest car in the world, but it has a power to weight ratio far far better than the mera gti. 190bhp / ton ish depending on the model. But just wanted to stress that if anyone claims to even come remotely close to keeping up with an integra whilst driving an almera gti is either talking bollocks or the bloke in the integra can't drive or has something seriously wrong with his car!
