Hey guys, new GTi owner!!

Hey guys, a little question. I can't post in the tuning section yet, but I was wondering...

Does anyone have experience with adding a K&N 57i airfilterset on a SR20DE engine like my GTi?? I know it's bull about gaining a lot of bhp, it's just for the sound. But I've also heard stories about people actually losing a bit of bhp because of airfilters.
 
Anyone??

Another little question about filters. A buddy of mine heard good things about Green filters. Anyone have any experience with those??

Yes I've heard the best airfilters are the apexi ones and the BMC CDA ones. And someone ether here or on NPOC had theirs dyno tested with the K and N and the standard ones, and it lost power with the K and N.

Yeah, I heard that before. Apexi I also heard good things about. I'll have to give it some thought.
 
Kinda bummed out today. Discovered a tiny bit of rust on the front left panel. Not to big, shouldn't be to expensive to get that taken care off. But hey, it's almost 12 years old, it's bound to have a little rust somewhere.

Bigger problem, I discovered that the seat of the driver's chair is loose!! That really pissed me off. Went back to the dealer, said I wasn't gonna pay for it since I've only had it 3 weeks and they should've fixed it then. They said it wasn't gonna be a problem, and I can bring the car over next week to get it fixed.

I know it's stuff you can expect with a second hand car, and they fixed some rust and blemishes on the back panels and re-painted the frontbumper, but still...
