hi all great site i just bought a 98 (s) gti with 12 months mot for £200 yes £200
and the best part 2 owners and 48000 miles
how i got it so cheap?
my mates dad works for the council when on his rounds he stops once a week and cuts a old ladies grass,hedge ect. well 6 months ago she stopped driving due to age. she has money and no relitives so no need for the car or to sell it and just gave him the car sort of as a thank you. now hes had it for the last 6 months and has just bought a new car i mentioned to him that i was looking for a cheap car as i have just got a new job after 4 months of unemployment. he turned round and said well you done my fence for nothing (it was a big fence a weeks work only charged him for the materials) i could have the car for the cost it took to put it through the mot 2 weeks ago £200 i was speachless gave him the cash there and then and its even being droped of at my house tomorrow iv allways loved these cars and now i have one.

thought 49000 was to good to be true but it has a full histroy including a new engine fitted in 2002 at 90000 miles and a nasty little rust patch on the back arch aswell as a small crack in the frount bumper nevermind tho she goes well and handles like shes on rails. still for 200 still a bit of a bargin even if it only lasts till the next mot
