so now a new problem, bolts in the cat are perfectly round and stuck in place solid, not rounded by me by the way...

their going to HAVE to be drilled out, so i went ahead and bought a decat pipe and will get the local rally guys to drill the cat out for me before mot time comes around (july). The hanger bracket on the standard pipe is knackered too so i think im just going to get one of my mates to weld some type of bar onto this downpipe so it can still be hung on the rubbers and i will make my own earthing strap.

So the car is off the road again, well untill my decat comes in hopefully monday-tuesday

oh and spent a bit of time each day going round removing bolts, copper grease'ing them and replacing them again, every job i need to do on the car im slapping copper grease on all bolts before they go back in

The sensor will be fine. They all sit like that

if i leave it loose and spin the fan you can hear it catching though, but if i pull the cables tight it doesnt touch, so think i will just cable tie the wires up tight just for now or maybe get a soldering iron and melt a indentation into the fan blades at that point where it connects. Maybe best to do both...

oh and i have removed the two plastic fins from behind my grill, what were nissan thinking making a grill and then blocking it up, so i now have a fully functioning front upper grill

yeah but now the top half of your engine bay is going to get filthy and soaked when driving in the rain, just like nistro's does since he fitted the 2 slat

earth straps from battery upgraded to 4 gauge and another 4 gauge piece to earth the exhaust as mine were looking a bit tatty (ignore the one without a connector on it, it now has been done)

smart work fella, this 4-2-1 exhaust manifold is a sweet mod for small moneys. make sure the 2 blanking plugs are tite before setting off

yeah i have made sure the blanking lugs are tight and every bolt/lug is copper greased

right so i bought a decat pipe for the car, doesnt fit, well it fits downpipe side nice, but as its 3" bore, where it meets the standard cat back it blows like a $20 hooker. so that came back off and i had my cat bolts drilled out by some local rally guys, cost me the grand sum of 3 bags of chips, 2 pies and a large sausage in batter lol.

so not much else has changed, im just enjoying having it back on the road, i did buy a 3" powerland intake off here but i need to replace my air filter first as its too big and wont fit in the engine bay with how the intake pipe sits...

but i did find this up the mountains, and yes i know my car needs a wash but i just had to get some pics...
