Im new here.. some advice plz

Thing is... I have a full Primera eGT car I can get hold of for about 400... its just wether i can get the loom to work... are there any NON nats looms that work with the highports? such as a P10 eGT... My local Scrappy which specialises in NISSAN... have helped me a lot and have advised that an eGT would be my best investment.....

Is this sound advice....?

thanx for the replys...

QUICKDRAW- Ill have to call down to have a gander at it mate :p

To use the eGT ecu I`ve been told you`ll have to do some re-wiring and use the eGT MAF which is smaller in diameter than the Almera one.

he gonna have to do some re wiring any ways so that would be no problem i suppose

yes you can use the loom. it just have to re wire a few sensors- but since your going to have to strip the loom right down ne ways re wiring to a few sensors should not be a problem

KRISTIAN - call UP lol... ill be down to see raceworx in a few days time.

hmm... I think the Red top eGT might be my best bet then as I have access to the complete car...

Also many eGT spares..

just weather the box is fine with the Shafts and the 'highport' intake fits without too much trouble... im still yet to see the car...

P10 Mreg i think.. this might be my mistake...

By highport I mean the intake manifold is higher and sits on a slight angle... to the rest of the block

You've got it the wrong way round.......that's a lowport ;)

The ports in the head are lower than the intake. A highport has the intake low and the ports in the head are higher.

This is my lowport...

Yes.. sorry this is what i meant.. are the intake ports at a slight angle to the block on a high port? and they are higher then the normal ports... they sit just below the cam cover...

do you have a closer view?

I have a low port (same as what is in my car) round the back of the house on a wheeled platform. What do you want pics of ??

Don't have a high port though..

Here's a couple of pics from when I was showing someone where the hoses connect.....

Yes.. definatly lowport...

In my local Breakers there are at least 7/8 EGT engines and they all seem to be HIGHPORT..

wats the differences in performance and tunability between them...

Im looking at running a eGT SR20 with standard 4,2,1 branch manifold and loom in a different car...

Im worried about wiring problems with regards to NATS.. Do all eGT's have NATS? ... if so.. would a 2.0 SLX loom fit with the appriopriate ECU? and work okies?

cheers for any help...

Well i picked up the 2.0 micra yesterday!!!!...

the WRC spec shafts look the buisness!!! and the car looks in very good condition..!!!!

Im on the lookout for some performance parts and a good engine now...
