Insuring An Almera GTi

Sorry to hijack this thread, but if I have only third party cover, is there any point in declaring non-performance mods to the insurer? I think I already know what the answer is.. but just want to check. And do alloys count as a performance mod?

Would you be happy paying £3k plus for insurance on a car that probably cost you half that?
You should know the answer to that.... Why ask other people if you should pay it?

There are plenty of threads about insurance you can look at theres even a dedicated one somewhere.
 
I would try Bell insurance, my girlfriend and I are both insured through them.
Seem pretty cheap and specialise in people with low NCB.

Try CIS I gt insured on my 1.6 ambition 4 £800 and on a 52 plate 316i SE 1.8 for £1400 but I did have quite a bit of NCB from my dad all this whilst I was 17, only 18 last month both fully comp
 
To think when these cars came out, as long as you were over 18 the insurance was free for a year or for £300 you could get 3 years insurance, dependant on claims/circumstances etc!

As yew all know im 18 and had liscence for 1 yr 6 months...

I tried insuring an Almera GTi and the price was £3040... is this a good price?

only group 6 insurance and a good 40 mpg on a run
Buy some nice bolt on bits for it then in a few years get a gti and transfer all the bits!!!!
My old sri used to keep all the fiesta zetec-s's away and the saxo vtr's
