hes havin net probs i think; he was doin a junction of m6 to get home from pub. bumper mounts fell out with the car and seperated, bumper did a parachute impression and took off. he pulled up to go fetch it and a lorry pole axed it.

Although I feared the worst, that you'd been rear ended by a Stobart lorry!
 
im sorry this happened but theres an element of humour about it too, i mean look! the bumpers got a tyre marks clearly across it like in a cartoon!
 
Thinking something like this for the future, with the numberplate under the splitter (Although I may swap this bootlid onto the new GTi 'Gizmo').

Haha neither can I to be honest, think I would have chickened out, in a way it was good something like a lorry hit it and it didnt end up smashing somebodys windscreen.
 
Shame to hear about that mate, that bumper looked good, but look sooo much better without a numberplate. Shame about the legality issue.
 
Yeah will do, got my blue towing bumper on at the moment! Got a plain black one in the pipeline, just gotta get a splitter for it :)
