My mates just said he's just seen a black kitted focus in Hartlepool which is actually an undercover police car, the devious buggers!

Wont be long until they start buying badly done up cars on ebay and using them i wouldnt have thought! scares me :(

me gf lives in nottingham, remember when i seen my first under cover car ever as we were next to it in a taxi, i wasl ike OMG COPS IN A BLACK CORSA SNEEKY, then got told they have all kinds the taxi driver even mentioned a supra chasin a car and pulling him, i thought ***** off crap, then the guys i was with were like yea iv seen that car,

me mate also seen a impreza even with the gold alloys doing well over a tone passed him then he noticed it had all the nice police stripes on it,, sneeky buggers

The police in Bristol have an Impreza that I have seen a few times. They just seem to stick to the unmarked Mondeo's and Volvo's here in this area that I have seen, althought their marked car are quite nice now adays what with the BMW's, Mercedes, etc with all the reflective stickers on the side and blue lights on top.

Yeah normally round here their undercover cars are Octavias and volvo's and are normally silver, if i was the police i'd use a modified car too like, could just drive into a cruie and park up then methodically check everyones regs for insurance n stuff, then go and try to race someone and pull them!

They have deffo got at least one Scooby STi and one Evo 8 in North Yorskhire as I've seen them. They are all liveried up too, dunno what undercover ones they have though.

lovely. what a wonderful way to spend our hard earned taxpayers money. wankers.

the police having undercover cars isnt a waste of money you tit, its a great way to get wankers off the roads!!

i agree with them having cars that can do the speeds for WHEN IT IS NEEDED but i feel its a bit like entrapment how they are using modded cars edging people on to race then doing them.

Essex Police have a few good ones, 2 evos, (1 white, 1 grey/silver) both marked, one`s an 8, other one could be a 7, mostly see them with marked Mondeos, Volvos & Foci, :D either in the big layby @ Witham on the Colchester bound carriageway of the A12 (the one on the bend) or any of the laybys between Witham & Kelvedon.

There`s defo an unmarked metallic red V70 T5 estate with cream interior, (passed that on the same stretch of A12 a few weeks ago, they were following a line of about 5 artics) & at least 1 unmarked silver beemer, either 5 or 7 series (maybe one of each, have got the number plate somewhere, wrote it down when it went passed me ;) ).

They also have a new marked Land Rover Dicovery & a blue marked 4x4 Nissan Pickup! (saw it parked on a drive in Chelmsford the other week & wondered "what the hell do they need that for  )

Those are the only ones I know about/have seen.

So keep an eye out if you`re down this way. ;)

If you don't race then you won't get pulled will you ;)

dont get me wrong i dont flee about all over racing everything with wanker lights, i mainly use my car to commute but on odd occasions if its dark and someone tries to race me up a dual carraigeway, thats my concern, that i'll be pulled on the rare occaision - but at the end of the day it is my fault if/when it happens, :(

LOL I race myself on the way home, generally very little traffic on the last 16mile stretch of B Road (the first 16mile section is dual carriageway out of aberdeen), and i drive it every day, so i tend to just speed all the way. Dangerous i know, but ive driven that road every day for the last 4 years practically.

Haha i can just imagine you waiting to finish work to start your rally home, what's your best time?

lol well its 16miles of dual carriageway and then 16miles of B road, about 35mins in the evening. its SO boring honestly. just used to it though

As for police cars, theres a few brand new Range Rovers and saw an X5 the other day

Lol

Don't even get me started on the Focus its a hard car to work with when it comes to audio installs.

and done up car for a police car. I heard that there were a few M3s rolling about. and i seen a BMW 5 series rolling about flashing lights all over the place ofcourse it was undercover. any way I have no idea what the 5 series could be proboly a 530 d but i know they are pretty quick (next doors just had one 0-60 in about 7 or 8 secs)

modded imprezas and evos. r they really nessesary??
well i think if they are chasing a Evo's they will not have a chance if they are in a ford focus unless it was a RS turbo.

Ive seen a police documentary thing where they had an impreza, an evo got stolen (theives broke into house and got keys) and they couldnt keep up with the evo. evo was ditched and the thieves got away!
also, saw a program and the police were in an impreza again, parked up on country road. bike goes past at some crazy speed, so they used impreza to full potential to catch up with it.
so it places with high car crime and or speeding then it is useful to have. i doubt they are modified though.
