My car got stolen

had a bike stolen a few years back and the police were useless then, said they were going to come and get a statement from me because i seen it happen while my mate was riding the bike yet they never ever turned up, think they arranged to come twice and the first time they just never bothered to turn up and the second time they rang up saying they were too busy, never heard anything again. i know its only a bike and not worth anywere near as much as a car but they could still make the effort so people knew they could trust the police. would have gone after the theifs but i was on a bike which was worth twice as much and was outnumbered so it wasnt worth the risk

have got a nice big knife in the kitchen just incase anyone trys to steal or damage the cars, im calm most of the time but with cars its different, they dont belong to the theifs and the theifs deserve a good stabbing which is what anyone who even attempts to damage or steal my cars will get. i know its stupid but they would only get a slap on the wrists at the most from the police, at least with my punishment they wont ever be stealing anything ever again which is exactly what should happen to them

too much policing is done with speed cameras now, what chance is there of catching criminals when the police are stuck in an office? and even the decent officers dont have a chance because the law is on the side of the criminal anyway

I know five coppers as acquaitence are they are all a***holes.
1.The youngest Chief inspecter the local force has ever had who thinks the sun shines out of his arse.
2.A seargeant who is a complete sexist.
3.A pc who treats women like sex objects.
4.A chief special who is a serial adulterer.
5.A dopey one who in his time on the force has written of 2 marked and one unmarked plodmobiles.

Not that I have anything against the police

The thing is, YOU would get a serious buggering for doing that most likely. The Police do have loads of stuff to do to be fair, I mean there are a hell of a lot of scummers in the country these days, but with all the tax paid I'm sure some kinda improvements could be made with more officers, or some kinda reform so that relatively "petty" stuff can be dealt with more efficiently?

"they all do that sir".

j/k! I do know a few people who joined though, they do change a bit I thought. They must be trained pretty well to have that change occur though, pity it seems to be wasted...

as long as you don't 'turn' as it were on us.

Oh i 4got 2 mention, three of my acquaitence always go round the car park where we work, looking for discrepences, dispite the fact they aren't on duty. Le dicks

I've had someone vandalize my car (sort of - they ripped the rear windscreen wiper off it and keyed it) - police couldn't really do much, but they took a report.

Had my bike stolen from a locked shed in a fenced-in garden (terraced house) - police did nothing at all about it. It was a custom-built frame (Kona) with all my own preferred kit on it. Came to about £800, ignoring the fact that it was unique. I saved for years on a paper round for that... I still have the crime number, but I had a lot of trouble riding that to uni...

Still, that led to me buying my Almera, so it's OK really. But some fucker has my bike, and indirectly stole all that work I did off me...

yer i competely agree with that, even the police which do want to reduce crime which to be fair is probably a large proportion of them have so much paper work to do and have to be so careful when arresting scum that dont deserve any respect at all that really the police dont have enough time. like with everything else in this country it centres around paper work and human rights, was watching a program about the spanish police and they are allowed to hit people who they are trying to arrest if they resist and even if someone is hurt if they have commited a crime they get arrested and taken to the station, over here they couldnt do anything like that so the police have to waste time calling an ambulance and messing round wasting time arresting criminals that resist arrest. wasters, drug dealers and violent thugs probably have more rights than average law abiding citizens in this country

True. My mate is a policeman, and you'd never believe the amount of conditions that need to be fulfilled before they can do anything about a particular issue. They've got to be very careful in today's "claims culture" too, whilst watching that they aren't stabbed or anything themselves. Whatever happened to a bobby with a truncheon being able to sort out problems when he/she knows it's wrong? Now it's all "well, this isn't technically illegal" and so on...

Plus, they've got far too much crime to deal with everything except the really nasty stuff. I don't envy the police force. They do what they can, and they're pretty good at what they do. They just need more staff.

random question but do mera gti's have a habbit for going missing??
