na exhaust system?? you mean the standard exhaust from cat back to backbox?

by correct itself, do you mean break off, and munch into your cylinders? lol. sounds like play in the shaft, fuck that ... get a new one ... mega expensive if it explodes dude

thanks for the info bud.. iv got a spare one..
its a standard system just after decat (downpipe) because in a starlet turbo the cat comes straight after the turbo... so going to get 2.5" system put all the way through..
 
going to change turbo over with the spare one that i have and put the hks actuator on at the same time and sort the intercooler pipes too....
 
turbo changed over today...
now running low boost at 0.4 bar boost, heres some pics

Ive got a question about the moulded rear spats, did you just use filler? Or was fibreglass used?
 
Nah you stupid goons, it was all fibreglass..

I used the filler on the rear spoiler..

Basically Liam, the spats although lined up, had a lil gap so that was fibreglassed, and then again using FG moulded into the bumper...

from factory its 135 @ 0.6 bar
 
about 3 weeks after conversion the bottom end started knocking, so got the bottom end rebuilt...
engine coming out...

they arn't even fixed in but they already have a good fit.. should look pretty good when all snug up.

Crank is polished and refit.. .ALL NEW BEARINGS are in..

Mains, Rods and thrust bearings. And the cranks spins nice by hand. no tight spots and smooth,



Its a lot of work but seems to have made a very big improvement as you can see..

There is a couple before, and a couple after, and one during..

The middle bearing which had failed has had the biggest improvement..

Seems like a nice crank from What I can see now.
