Dastek piggyback is not the best. If you're going to donut properly you need Nistune and if you're paying out for tuning on the Dastek then it'd be well worth the extra investment.

The trouble with Dastek is that they often become corrupt and unusable when the maps are updated. I think it's the company trying to force you to buy the latest model really. I've got a Dastek Unichip II on my Stagea but I'm not 100% happy with it so I think I'm going back to standard and chopping that crap out.
 
Just had another project delivered today MK4 XR3i Cabriolet been stored for 20 years nearly nice D reg in pretty good nick. Means more money to spend along with the mera and my BMW e36 325i coupe
 
Not been on for a while been so busy. I haven't had the time to do anything on my old escort apart from put it in for mot. Failed on headlights rear brakes and steering rack and front suspension. 100 percent rust free though. Also haven't had time to sort out anything on the almera either. Just got it back from garage after mot. So another years motoring even though I only did 2500 miles in the last yyear. Hoping to do some work on it over next few weeks going to refurb the original alloys got hold of many parts that needed replacement due to slight damage or scratches to the interior trim. I will take some pictures tomorrow and I will upload.
 
here is some pics of the mera. Since the last pictures its had new repeaters and indicators along with some wind deflectors. Hopefully be doing some bits on it over the next few weeks.
 
Actually got round to sorting out the de cat today as I paid the local garage to put it on for the mot after they put the cat back on for it. They managed to do it wrong the exhaust was blowing and banging around now all sorted. Thought I may aswell give her a oil change at the same time
