N15 gti clunk

Hi guys im in need of help lol the story so far ( plz be patient. ) right first off i had bad bumpstops so i replaced them and then proceeded to install the legs incorrectly and funked my strut bearings replace them along with incorrect lenght legs( didn't know at the time) but also had it tracked up and had drop lonks and track rod ends replaced then realised difference in leg lenght and sorted that out and had it re tracked now i have a clunk intermittently from underneath passenger side ( wrong lenght side ) could anyone give me an idea as to what it could be ??maybe i need to retighten droplinks to new ride hight??or has my sway bar bushes funked ?? I have had both wheels up in the air and did th12-6 and 3-9 wiggle and all soild ?? Im prepared to rebush wish bones and antiroll bar if nessersary but if no money is needed u catch my drift plz advvise ppl and the clunk happens when turning really right and not all the time and at different speeds

top mounts not lined up or springs not seated properly, there are two arrows on the top mounts that need to be lined up correctly.

Yeah done that pal all springs in correctly and arrows lined up and bolts all tight but it still does the clunk but it sounds like its underneath passenger side somewhere

i have a theory on this correct me if im wrong (which im sure someone will lol) when its lowered below factory specs the angle of the cv joint is raised putting strain on the bearings and cup causing a "clunk" sound when driving and cornering, this might be due to lack of grease or a small amount dirt/grit in the cv cup chamber, can anyone else shed some light on this am i aiming in the right direction or not?

If that was the case it would make a constant clunk under acceleration, not just over bumps. I think in this case it's quite likely to be a strut piston making the noise.

Both my struts brand new as are the bearings and have all been greased up mynoise is intermittent. And only does it when turning right and my clunk is not coming from strut of bearing its underneath i suppose ppl have different ideas between clunk noises

check the cv joints and the universal joint underneath maybe lack of grease or wear on it just noticed mine has bugger all grease in there so ill add it and see if that works

Jack it up, look at it see if the boot/gaiter is screwed and check for play there shouldn't be any

....phone....

A quick update the car has developled yet another problem it pulls to the left so went to get it tracked up AGAIN and after they finished it still pulls to the left and still clunks underneath but the guy at the garage used a bar and said that theres nothing that seems out of place so mega funked off with the car slowly falling outta love with the mera lol hhhhheeeeellllppppppp
