Gti's should live on that

I'm quite old fashioned like that i try too look after everything i own, which is why i get anouyed when things go wrong with her.
Will defo be a well looked after buy for someone if ever i sold her especially with the reciepts for what ive spent.

The sr20 was tested at 20% over the normal rev limit for like a constant 100,000 miles by nissan, so hitting the odd rev cut on a fully warmed up, and well oiled engine, will not cause any issues.

It'd be rude not too....hows the van coping with the "ragitsnutsofffromcoldnomattertheconditions" driving style?

Perfect. Passed doe test last week touched a speedo indicated 140mph going home. Its going that well I even taxed it.

Is that a winter weight oil?

Any oil is good a long as it's changed on a regular basis, just take into account your personal requirements, ie daily, track car, high reving etc. I use an ester synthetic changed once a year ( <1000 miles ).

No I just made a oil change before pulling my GTi into the garage over the winter, its "sleeping" I dont drive my Almera GTi on the winter because here in sweden they use salt on the roads and etc... I have never used 0w30 and decided to try it because in the manual it says that u can use 0w30.

Sleeping GTi ;)

I use 5-40w full synth; definately noticed more oil consumption with a 30 weight oil so would definately reccomend a 40 weight for all round use

after rebuild motul 5w40
Swiss your lucky with this garage my gti stand under cloud every day and salt from the street stick to it as fuck

Come to Ireland where it never stops raining and nearly always work outside
