N16 Audio / Dash / Upgrade

Better late than never but.... no the X-Car link just plugs in the CD changer port of the OE CD drive. The OE LCD screen shows CD Changer and you can control the music still with the OE steering wheel controls.
 
hi there just read this post and looking for the exact same info ...i have that dash and a broken cd player...could you forward me the link to relevant info please...thanks ..midi
 
With the Xcarlink, do you get any info on the screen? and can you control the track/volume with the controls on the central console?
 
Should be as the Flare has same interior stuff as an SE. Flare is just that with bodykit iirc.

No screen info, but u can still control tracks and volume with steering controls.

Playlists on the iPod are represented as separate CDs in what the headunit thinks is a CD changer from what I can figure out :)
