my opinion is to dynamically lighten and balence the con rods, pistons, crank, pulley, flywheel and bolts. The go and get the head ported, 3 angle valve seats, and possibly get larger valves(i do head work, £250 for a full port and polish, with gasket match) Ported inlet, larger throttle body, or itb's. This is nigh on the spec im building a members engine to soon.
All of that combined would produce an absolute corker of an engine imo, revvy with the torque to match from the 1.5.
