My last car had terrible headlights but a set of uprated 'all weather' bulbs from Halfrauds made a big difference and also gave a nice, subtle purple tint to the light.
Well worth getting the headlamp alignment checked during the next service or MOT, too.
Will likely get some of those bulbs tomorrow for my new Almera (first payday after getting a new car so I'm going to be broke by Friday!).
I assume foglight bulbs are more penetrating than regular ones - would it be legal to stick in bulbs that have similar penetration to dipped headlamps and have them on all the time or is the law on foglight use it more to do with the foglight alignment than the brighness of the bulbs? I put Ring 'Driving Lamps' on my last car which were allegedly legal for full-time use as they were not foglights.
