wont gain much than just higher fuel consumption! you do it by wiring up the solenoids at the ecu or in the engine bay, best bet is to have a look on the sr20forum, you'll get the info there.
 
The exhaust solenoid signal wire is purple and the intake one is pink with a black tracer.Find these wires down at your ecu,snip the exhaust wire about an inch from the ecu and join it up to the intake wire,thats it.

so does it give more low down power when it kicks in earlyer and will it need mapped to give it more fuel when it kicks in

Well i can't say for sure as i don't have any RR printouts to back it up,the sr20v engine is a single activation so i think nissan realised its better,look it up on sr20forum for need to change fueling etc
