new and ready to learn :o)

Thanks for that Sam, that looks almost a factory finish, going to try and find more info and photos on that one.

I know about that concept Micra, I thought it was rear engined at the time though.

Micra R was rear engined SR20 (BTCC spec) and then it was changed for the 3.5ltr. I've got the old cylinder head of that SR in my garage. :)

It was in Trinidad and Tobago I think, been trying to find it for the last little while now.

I took a photo of my (dirty) engine bay last night ...

The overall width of the cube is only 3" less than Almera so that won't be a problem. My concern at the moment is space from radiator to bulkhead but could always rear mount radiator or have it angled under engine.

We fitted an sr engine to a k11 micra and when fitting all we cared about was making sure there was clearance at the water pump pulley and the shafts

Water pump clearance could have been better if the chassis legs didn't taper in so much!

Cheers Sam.

Appreciate the extra photos and well found. :)

Looks the only thing missing there is the manifold heat shield but that might be a 4-2-1 manifold instead of standard?

Luckily I don't have the problem of tapered chassis legs on the cube. (I think!)
